The Saami’ land – region resembling fairytale

Lapland is the country of the Lapps which attracted attention of travelers, writers, ethnographers from of old. Isolation and rough environment of this region have caused variety of legends about the Lapps and their native land. Representatives of this nationality call themselves the Saami. Their traditional activities are fishery, hunt and deer farming.
