Oslo in St-Petersburg
In 1995 Oslo and St-Petersburg conclude an agreement about economic, cultural, scientific and technical collaboration with two cities. In 2007 in Oslo the exhibition of St-Petersburg in Oslo was successfully held, and now Oslo gives to St-Petersburg return visit. The central event of Oslo's Days will be the exhibition "Oslo - the Fjord City Expo". This exhibition was earlier held in Shanghai, Beijin, Kiel, Hamburg, Cannes and Genoa. The exhibition is represented from such point of view as town building, development of coastal zone and water resources planning.
As in St-Petersburg and in another coastal cities Oslo's coast line, turns from the port-industry zone to modern coast territory with parks, recreation area, cultural institutions, residential and business quarters. Townsmen get the entry to the coast line. "We want to familiarize Russians with the town building projects in Oslo and hope to exchange of experience with St-Petersburg and to approach business contacts" - said organizers of exhibition.

Due to collaboration with St-Petersburg we have a possibility to exchange of experience and knowledge that inspire us in searching new ways of development of our cities. In 2007 in Oslo the Days of St-Petersburg were held, and now we are very glad that we have the possibility to visit your city with the exhibition "Oslo - the Fjord City Expo" - Director of managing the city development Merete Agerbak-Jensen.
Within "Days of Oslo" workshops for experts on tourism, economy development, town building and water resources will be held. "Aim of the Days of Oslo in St-Petersburg holding is to invite to collaboration with colleges and partners from St-Petersburg. Due to the exhibition "Oslo - the Fjord City Expo" we aspire to familiarize residents of St-Petersburg with Oslo - city which offers o lot of possibilities of adventure holidays, has considerable economy and science resources and also is notable for cultural diversity. We hope that Days of Oslo will help to consolidate existed friendship and to establish new contacts over the range of town building, regional managing, culture and tourism." - notes Director of managing the city development Merete Agerbak-Jensen.
