The Russian Museum of Ethnography and publishing "ARKA" presented an album "Jewish treasure in Saint-Petersburg. Ashkenazi collections of the Russian Museum of Ethnography". This issue is about special part of the vast Jewish collection in Saint-Petersburg on Ashkenazi collection in the Russian Museum of Ethnography. It is one of the most complete collections of such kind and it gives a notion about confessional and ethnic specific features of the culture of this nation which had formed in commune of Eastern Europe by the end of the XVIIIth century.
