13.02.2010. The Russian Shrovetide
On February 13th 2010 in the Russian Museum of Ethnography the next Maslenitsa festival was held. The coincidence of the Russian Shrovetide and the catholic Carnival this year makes it possible to invite two creative teams, the Pan-theater and the Lithuanian School of the folk culture Liturelis, to take part in the festival.

On February 13th 2010 in the Russian Museum of Ethnography the next Maslenitsa festival was held. The coincidence of the Russian Shrovetide and the catholic Carnival this year makes it possible to invite two creative teams, the Pan-theater and the Lithuanian School of the folk culture Liturelis, to take part in the festival.

Visitors and members of the Museum Friend`s club took alive part in such performances like tag-of-war, sing and dance in a ring, fortune-telling on pancakes, and with the artists of Lithuanian and Russian theaters detachments of the volunteers won over Time from cold Winter for long-awaited Spring.

Children`s laughing and unanimous of museum gusts participation bring the feeling of Carnival to the halls of the Russian Museum of Ethnography.
